I ask cause the 4s has the cdma bands along with the gsm band radio(world phone) , and if cricket will be issuing sim cards seems that u can can unlock it and use it that way, sorta the same way people have been using them on t-mobile, the iphone 4 was only a cdma model or gsm model. Guess im sorta answering my own question

The Iphone will actually be a CDMA device and it will be a phone exclusively for cricket. We don't know whether it will have SIM card slot but it sure will be an original for us.

I don't think he was referring to the cricket iPhone.

There's no reason for cricket to issue Sim cards at all. Only LTE cards for 4G devices which Apple has none except for the iPad 3

Why isn't the iphone going to be in the St. Louis market? Is it because the iphone isnt tri-band or something? It says under mycricket.com/iphone

You can still use the iPhone There if you buy it. They just won't be selling it there.
