    Easy to Use Data Features

Cricket's new smartphone plans include unlimited 3G data and enable customers to choose between three quantities of full-speed data per month. In addition, Cricket customers on these plans can now use new data tools on their phones to track their data usage throughout the month and buy additional quantities of full-speed data if needed. Under the new service plans, when customers need more full-speed data than their selected rate-plan provides, they can change to a rate plan with more full-speed data, add one or more 1GB full-speed data add-ons to their plan for $10 each (excluding Cricket PAYGo), purchase additional full-speed data as needed at a rate of $1 for 50MB, or make no change and use unlimited data at reduced speed through the rest of their month.

All Cricket rate plans are competitively priced and contain unlimited talk and text, allowing customers to select the plan that provides the features and services that are just right for them. For music lovers, Cricket's innovative Muve Music service is now available for the first time in all Android plans at no additional cost. For as little as $50 per month, customers can experience all the features of an Android phone and unlimited music downloads from Muve Music's library of nearly six million songs. Muve Music has quickly become one of the fastest growing digital music subscription services in the US offering truly unlimited song downloads, ringtones and ringback tones.

    International Calling Features

Cricket is expanding the world-class value available in its suite of international calling products with the launch of the Global Plus Bundle, now available to all new and existing Cricket Wireless customers on all Cricket Wireless rate plans. With the Global Plus Bundle, any rate plan can become an international rate plan for an additional $15 per month.

With the Global Plus Bundle Cricket customers receive a Global Local Number – a local telephone number in the country of their choice and 500 outgoing international landline minutes and 30 outgoing international mobile minutes. When friends and family dial the Global Local Number, the calls are forwarded straight to the customer's Cricket phone in the United States without the premium per minute cost of an international call charged to the caller.

    Additional Features

    • Visual Voice Mail provides customers the ability to use their device to quickly prioritize and manage their messages in the order they prefer.
    • New 'My Account' features allow customers to make credit card and debit card payments from their device.
    • Cricket Wireless customers can now add up to six additional lines (on the same account) and receive a $5 Multiline Discount per each additional line.

~ Music Fully Integrated at No Extra Cost to Consumer

    ~~ Global Industry First

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cricket Communications, Inc., a leading provider of innovative and value-driven wireless services, today announced the expansion of its award-winning Muve Music service. Beginning on September 2, Muve Music will be included in all Cricket Android rate plans making the music service more broadly available and affordable for its Android smartphone customers. Thanks for the update Chris , One issue I have had with muve service is the requirement to use a muve sd card :/ Power users that are mainly on your site Im sure all have large sd card . mine 32 gb class 10 . If they opted a way to bring said card in and offer to ???partition it or something I would love to use muve music /. Is there any infomration out there on how to use muve without a muve sd card ?

Not working for Cricket or even talking to them (hey Cricket feel free to contact me at anytime when it's not about taking the site down), I can only speculate.

This deal with the music industry or whoever they are partnered up with relies on the music being stored securely. They dealt with Sandisk to provide a solution that would please both parties involved. People haven't even been able to turn the Muve Music SDCard into a normal SDCard from what I've read.

Offering a bigger card in general would probably be the way for Cricket to go especially since they are really trying to make this standard on the Android plans.

Might have to jump ship guys. Been with Cricket a couple of years, been happy .I was going to preorder the One V but Virgin seems like a better deal.I don't need unlimited calling and do NOT want the music service. Plus the One is $50.00 cheaper. $35.00 a month sounds alot better for me.
Plus the Virgin One has all ready been rooted.

i'll admit that's a little exciting. i've been curious what the fuss is about and it would save me data charges use muve music over Google play music. same issue as above though, there sd card is wayyy too slow, and it's not as if iI can just take it out from the merchandise without a lot of trouble.

Are flashed phones working alright in your area? If so, you can buy my Virgin One V that I purchased just to create a tutorial.

$100 plus shipping. After I post the tutorial of course.

If I read their graph correctly, no. It would fall under "unlimited multimedia text".

you will have to call to have your rate-plan changed.don't take any "winback" offers. just tell them you don't want to pay for it.

this will save money for most of cricket's customer base. and the $60 plan includes tethering so it will be nice.what i want to gripe about is the international plan change. no longer is cricket offering unlimited land-line calling

my question is that according to the info posted by Chris and on the mycricket website that "Cricket Wireless customers can now add up to six additional lines (on the same account) and receive a $5 Multiline Discount per each additional line." at first I was getting my discount per line because I have 3 lines on my account and when i called and questioned what happened to it, I'm being told that it only applies to certain lines that have been opened on a account. what's the real deal?

you will only get the multi-line discounts on new lines with new phones added after a certain date. if you disconnected one line and later reconnected it as a used phone you may not receive the discount.

As of right now the biggest Muve card offered is the 8GB which is 2 GB for storage and 6 GB for music the partition for Muve is propritery from Sandisk so until they decide to make bigger cards you cannot partition it to do what you would like unforutnately but if you have a device with internal storage and an SD Card slot ur golden

The new plans are list on the Cricket site now. On this graph, it says that the $50 plan has unlimited international text, but on the cricket site, it doesn't say that. It only says you have unlimited international text for the $60 and $70 plans. Does anybody know anything else about this? This sucks.

I am curious now about the $35 Cricket PAYGo plan. 1000 minutes with unlimited data? I would love to have that as I barely use 200-300 minutes a month.

What if my phone is listed as something else? Right now Cricket see's my Droid X as a "ROKR", couldn't it be just as easy to tell the system my phone is one of the accepted phones?

I switched to the $70 plan (moderate/heavy user) and was wondering about the vm as well. Kinda looked into it and you have to download the cricket vm app from the Google play store. Once you've dl'd the app, run thru the settings and it will prompt you for your vm password (which I either forgot or never setup thru customer care)
