    1, 2, 3, 4, 5..... 6

Here we are. As expected, and if you didn't know, Cricket Wireless will be getting the Samsung Galaxy S6. Don't hold your breathe on the Edge variant though.

CRICKET WIRELESS CONFIRMS ARRIVAL OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S 6

Cricket customers will have access to Samsung’s new high-power performance smartphone

Cricket Wireless announced that it will carry the Samsung Galaxy S® 6 in its more than 3,300 retail stores nationwide and online at www.cricketwireless.com. Pricing, availability and further details will be announced at a later date.
Cricket continues to upgrade no-annual contract wireless, with plans starting at $35 a month after a $5 auto pay credit, all in, with taxes and fees included, and value packed features and promotions-- all riding on a nationwide 4G LTE network covering more than 300 million Americans.

Redesigned from the ground up, the Samsung Galaxy S 6 embodies the best of form and function. The Galaxy S 6 has an incredibly responsive camera with a faster camera app launch and auto real time HDR for images that are crisp and focused. The 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED® display allows users to see more details in photos, videos and documents, even in bright outdoor light. The Samsung Galaxy S 6 is embedded wireless charging technology compatible with virtually all wireless charging pads on the market.1 The full feature list for each device will be provided closer to launch.

What are the odds cricket will get the s6 edge? In your opinion is the edge a gimmick or is it worth the extra cost anyway? Would an edge from AT&T (or one ordered directly from Samsung) work on cricket?

Since making that post I've learned that the edge will not be coming to cricket, period.

I'd still like to know if it could be brought in from AT&T. Also, is there any information on when cricket will get its s6 or how much it will cost?

in a month or two is my guess. no information yet. and yes an edge that supports att's network will work like directly from samsung, i also guess ours will cost the same as the unlocked version.

I went to my local cricket store today and they had no idea when they'll be getting the s6. I went to best buy to pre-order and they said it'll be a few months before they'll be allowed to sell an AT&T s6 without an activation. This is incredibly frustrating.

I don't know if I can take months of using this worthless Desire 510 the new cricket pushed on me to get me off my cdma s4. I'd just jump networks, but no one else can come close to my rate plan. I guess the price we pay for cheap service is being treated like second class consumers.

maybe try to get the off contract att variant on amazon or other retailers? i don't see it off contract at even samsung's website yet. must be some collusion between the carriers and samsung.

I have spoken with to some people at Cricket they said it should be out to Cricket Customers on the 23rd, But anything can happen to change that. I was told that they will let me know the day it comes out, because i also want to get the S6.
