And whats even better is they will threaten to terminate you if you buy phones from best buy to sell in your store.

They tell dealers not to but them, but the guy selling at the swap meet is buying and selling them. Makes you wonder who is making these decisions.

i had a customer tell me they nearly bought a score from some swap meet. . for $180! the dude said it was better than his vitality.

(ps, apologies to my customers who purchased it at full MSRP only to get a defective product)

Okay you're upset... However, let's say your job encompassed selling Cricket phones and your customers could purchase the phone cheaper at Best Buy than what you purchase them for. Now you know what Cricket dealers (non-corporate) go through.

I'm not a dealer, but I'm pretty sure this is along the lines of what is happening.

I bought a Merc for my wife last month at full price. She needed it as the old phone was junking out. I like it so much I almost bought one for myself but I am waiting for the new phones to pop up. I insist on ICS.

It upsets me a lil that I paid $280 for my mercury and a case but u know what that was when it first came out so if anything if I wanted it cheaper I woulda waited till it got older then bought it, point is its my fault if ida waited I woulda paid less o'well.

When it first came out I payed 325. No case. No protector. 2months later screen broke. Payed 90 to fix it. 30 for a new battery because old went wouldn't work. And 15 for a screen and phone protector.... this really hurts me. Not to mention its the 2.3.5 merc so my phone can go haywire anytime

Then I would raise hell. I for one am not a fan of MAP pricing however if they set the rule then make them enforce it. I had to deal with map pricing BS for years.
Call them and make them hold up the deal, or get the phone at the price they are getting it for.
