  • Leap's answer to the 1gb data cap

    Many users in our forum have been hoping (and some probably praying) that Cricket would make new plans or make add ons which would allow for higher data usage.

    As you probably realize with the introduction of more power smartphones, you have a high potential of using data for e-mail, Internet, music streaming, Youtube, and the list goes on. Consumer focus on unlimited talk seems to be diminishing with the importance mainly focused on data and texting now.

    Do you think this could benefit you? Would you pay extra higher limits or faster data speeds?

    I thought this might inspire some lively conversation. I found this in a recent press release.

    Cricket will also introduce premium price plans next year that would allow customers to boost data speeds after they had passed their limit, Hutcheson said."If they use up their bucket of high speed data, they'll be able to buy that back up," he said.
    Good news huh? Hopefully sooner than later.
