  • RAZR MAXX vs RAZR

So I've had the RAZR MAXX for a few days, and I have to say...

I like it.... I like it a lot. The added battery life makes it a much more enjoyable phone. I must note that I have a lot of stuff that syncs with the phone. There are probably about 3 Gmail accounts and at least 3 additional accounts (IMAP).

I'm sure you can guess which one is which in the picture below.

I gave the Battery Left widget enough time to get a good estimate as well.

There is still a group buy going on for the parts, however I have not seen any word of people receiving anything yet. It has been over a month... The date April 30 was mentioned, so you might want to check that thread in the next few days. I approached the company directly hoping to add to my list of Youtube videos and they couldn't get me in on the initial batch.

Here's a good tip if you need MAXX battery life. Watch your local Craigslist. The notification I placed on the app CraigsNotification helped a lot.. I found a brand new RAZR MAXX for $295 (ATM machine error ultimately gave me 16 bucks for free... Paid him 300 for being late... so really $284). Titanium backup old RAZR, root new RAZR, install Voodoo OTA RootKeeper, install ICS, and I'm back up and running on a new MAXX.

In flight right now, but it was the first leak. It's very stable, my daily use phone, and I've intalled it on every RAZR I've touched (well 3).

From what I heard, the newer leaks don't let you go back to stock via RSDLite and an SBF file. That is why I haven't tried those out I'm staying in a safe position to upgrade to the OTA version if/when it comes out.

      Everything works fine.

Wow! Both cameras work and you have it fully flashed?
I need the cameras for work so going without would be a no go for me,
Thats the only reason havent tried any of the leaks yet,

I'm also on the Maxx, I love the battery life, latest a huge difference.

Both cameras work. This one is not flashed to Cricket, but there's another thread in this section where it was confirmed that you can get it all on Cricket.

Wow! Can you possibly share a link or share what version? I want to check it out.

I also heard that ics users were getting better battery then on GB. Have you noticed anything?
