  • Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Coming to Cricket ***RUMOR***

We had our last meeting of the year last week and it was mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is coming to cricket. This is exactly how the rumors for the Galaxy S3 started back in July, and 3 months later.......well, you know what happened. I'll be posting more details as more information becomes available.

    Happy New Year everyone!!!

      I think it's bad decision
I think with the Samsung Galaxy S3 is fine
to wait out the s4 or s5
those 2 smartphone, although they are in rumors
      are well powerful with a 1080 x 1920 resolution
      Pixel density 441pp
      12 or 13 megapixel camera

Honestly the phone isn't THAT big. I'm a small person and I have small hands and it fits comfortably. It's not awkward or anything. If you put a heavy duty case on it then yeah, it gets bulky. Just like any phone.

I like this though. The Note 2 is pretty cool in my opinion and I like the features it has. Cricket is stepping their game up and I like that too. This is what will get more people to come over and switch to Cricket. If you can get premium phones on a prepaid network people will enjoy that. I know I would. I'm paying 100+ just for my iPhone 5 on Verizon.

I would buy the Note 2 for Cricket in a heartbeat.

It's slim which makes up a lot for the size. Since US Cellular has a version of this, there is no reason not to be test the waters and go for it sooner than later. Premium devices can attract attention to Cricket and make them competitive against contract carriers.

I'm glad to see them getting more nice phones, but the Note2 is just not for me. The GS3 is pushing it size-wise for me as it is.

Samsung Rep. was at our store yesterday. And he said that right now, its an 80-20 chance that this will happen (Note II) and if it does (which probably will), it'll be in late May, early to mid June. Just passing on the info.

Hopefully we'd be able to do the same thing with CM10.1 as well. So nice on the Note 2.

I don't think so. I could look it up. At this point the CDMA + LTE versions of the Note 2 don't have CM10.1.

Id rather have the S3 than the Note2, the Note2 is like a portable flat screen tv

I bet you can use some of the tricks learned with the Cricket S3 and S3 CM10.1 to get MMS working.
