Just had this sent over from my rep. Looks like there is a update for the Engage available on Feb 20th! This is not Jelly Bean, just a software update resolving some issues. Hope this helps anybody with the ZTE Engage!

New Root Method No Pc - Credit to MyFormIsCrack over on the rise forums
Sorry for the duplicate post I can't change the Title in the other post "New Firmware update - root problems" , So I am starting a new thread.
After trying several methods.. I was able to Root using POOT. Bin4ry's root method did not work for me (I Tried V2, v17, V18) And seeing as I rooted the Hydro over 10 times successfully prior to the Update I thought this would help others.

Yes, if you have CM10.1 on your device, the latest nightly should update it to 4.2.2.
Changes:
- Fixed Bluetooth audio streaming bugs[103]
- Long-pressing the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons in Quick Settings now toggles the on/off state
- New download notifications, which now shows the percentage and estimated time remaining for active app downloads
- New sounds for wireless charging and low battery
- Removed option to show all calls in the phone app's call list
- New Gallery app animation allows faster loading

The much anticipated Google Wireless Charging Orb is now available for purchase (model LG WCP-400). It costs $59.99 plus shipping and is available on the Google Play store.
The power supply outputs 5V at 1.8 amps. Output to the device being charged is 1 amp.

It's that time again! We get another glimpse at what the platform distribution numbers are like for Android.
