We've heard news in Houston about a MIR for $199. This will bring Cricket's top of the line phone to the lowest price we've ever seen.

We have another great phone release from Cricket Wireless. The HTC One line has impressed me for a while. Honestly, I don't think it gets enough credit for how nice these devices are. We'll take a more in depth look at this phone when it's released.

And the first U.S. smartphone announcement of 2013 belongs to ... HTC and Cricket Wireless. The HTC One SV, last seen making its way through Europe SIM-free, and before that in Asia, is coming to Cricket Wireless starting Jan 16 for $349.99.
Spec-wise, the One SV sort of dances around what we consider to be the middle of of the HTC One line, much like the One VX on AT&T, though this is a different phone, with a different design. It's got a 4.3-inch ...byPublished on 01-02-2013 06:57 AM

Cricket's Samsung Galaxy SIII Gets Its First Official CyanogenMod (10.1) Nightly
Posted by Liam Spradlin in Cricket Wireless, Development, Galaxy S III, Jelly Bean 4.2
In a post to Google+ today, it was announced that Cricket's Samsung Galaxy SIII (otherwise known as d2cri) had received its first official CM 10.1 nightly, meaning Cricket-connected SIII users can enjoy the Android 4.2-based ROM with all the tweaks and features CyanogenMod fans have come to expect. Those who have followed the Cricket GSIII's progress (<--- link to this forum) toward an official nightly build will also be happy to learn that the device's camera woes have reportedly been solved.
Definition: A "nightly" is a bleeding edge release that is built on a daily basis, usually at night after a full day's worth of new code has been committed.
It could oftentimes be unstable and not properly tested, lacking any changelogs, but eventually evolving into alphas, betas, release candidates, and finally stable releases.

This is one of the easiest root methods until it all gets patched up. Please note the date that this is posted. It mentioned that the US versions of these devices don't look like they have an exploit problem. Read the XDA thread for more info.
In this video it is shown on an AT&T Note 2, but it should work with the Verizon / Sprint version. ...byPublished on 12-28-2012 10:06 PM
