  • Verizon Galaxy S5 / HTC One M8 and other Verizon Phones - MMS on Cricket Wireless

From the first Verizon LTE phone I tried to use on a GSM carrier (HTC Droid DNA), I knew that MMS would be an issue. The solution for that phone was to use another ROM. However Verizon had these phones configured, it would not allow MMS to send or receive with just an APN change.

Sometimes the fix is modification of the build.prop. However, the easiest method I've found to overcome these issues is to use GoSMS and manually configure the MMS.

Is there a way for the verizon phone to use LTE or will it be throttled at 8 Mbps anyway?

      I like Textra also.

My Verizon note 2 with custom rom did send mms 80% of the time. I did find that the use of the AT&T apn helped a little

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk

Anyone wanna swap their att n3 for my Verizon note 3? :/ lol this sucks, first cricket screwed me selling me the sch-r970c right before going to gsm. Now the guy told me that this is identical to att version on crickets network.

Anyone know if there is ANYTHING I can do with my sch-r970c GS4 other than use it as a Google play remote?

I'm on VZW now, wanting to switch to Cricket. I've got two phones, an S4 and a Note 3. Will they work well with Cricket? Thanks.
