So you may or may not have seen me drown my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5 in a zoo fish tank. That was not due to a manufacturing defect or anything like that. It's because I wanted to prove that an aftermarket QI wireless receiver pad would probably ruin the water tight seal. I succeeded in doing just that. The device relies heavily on water tight seals on the battery cover, charge port, and other areas.
Now the Moto G uses a little bit different technology. Nano coating... This nano coating protects critical components against water. Does it do a good job? You watch and tell me.
