Thread: How to root and Flash Huawei Ascend 2. Easy Guide

I was having problems Flashing my rom and getting all the information i needed so here is how i did it from beginning to end with the files included. I used the A2tude Rom but it can be substituted for whatever rom you choose

Tips:

1: Must be on Android 2.3.3 to Root, if not you must downgrade
2: For Flashing, you must have Cwm Rom manager premium, the free version did not have the right recovery for the phone and causes being stuck on the huawei white loading screen
3. Good luck and hopefully this will cure the frustration we all felt trying to Root and Flash this phone. Thanks to the Devs, please support them.

Once i took care of those 2 issues, it was a breeze

worked great until i flashed it and it all went good then i hit reboot system and it stayed at white Huewai screen so i am going to try again...any other advise ???
