Hard Reset / Factory Reset Huawei Ascend M860 (Cricket or MetroPCS)
If you need to hard reset or format Huawei Ascend M860 from cricket or MetroPCS, you can do the followings. However, you have to know that the action will erased all data on your phone internal memory such as contacts, installed apps, etc. But, it won’t erased any data on your external memory or memory card.
An easy way to backup your contacts is to go to the contacts, hit the menu button and use the Import / Export function. Export them to your SDCard. Do the same to get them back but hit import.
Also, if you store your contacts in your Gmail and not your phone, they will always be there when you sync your account.

1. Turn off the handset
2. Press the Volume up button
3. Press the send button
4. Turn on your phone.
5. Your done.
Note: This procedure will also unlocked the mobile phone if it is locked and bring it to default or factory setting.

First remove battery for a few minutes and then put it back in.
Then at the same time hold the following:
volume up, call button and power button (hold until it vibrates)
When it asks for permissions select:
select wipe data/ factory to reset
If it shows no no no select where it says yes
and put reboot system now
That's it! Goodluck!Last edited by Vane0314; 01-21-2012 at 02:36 PM.
