Cool Huawei Mercury task manager app vs. Market version. Which one is better?

So I have had the Mercury for about a week already, and I have gotten myself familiar with the phone and I have used the task manager app that was preinstalled on the phone. When I had the Ascend, I had installed the Android Assistant app to handle the task killing for me. I did notice that the battery would die real fast with the app running even though there was an option to kill the app too. My question is with the bigger battery and faster processor on the Mercury, would you recommend sticking with the stock task manager app or download one from the market?

Why dont you download the other one, test it for yourself and give the community your opinion?

I dont use a task manager personally, so other than my suggestion, I have no input.

Update: I downloaded Android Assistant last week and have been using it for almost two weeks. I have not seen any significant battery drainage or any other problems. I have noticed that there are a few tasks that you can't kill. They are selected, but when you hit kill selected, they stay on the screen. It also takes you to the settings screen when you select it. Overall, I'd say that this task like is not worth the space. It doesn't help the phone at all and I didn't see any extra performance from the phone. This phone is completely fast all on its own. I have yet to try another task killer, but for this one I'd recommend it for older Androids like the Ascend or the optimus.
