Thread: Huawei Mercury CM7 -xXNubCakeXx

I have successfully booted cm7 onto my merc! as stated in iCe release thread. Seeing that i got this far, imma cancel the release of it. Do u blame me? lol I will update this thread and clean it up sum at a later time, i just wanna get back the the rom asap lol! Im on vacation but im having fun working on this rom O_O so its a win win!! Having run porting CM7 on the beach =]

Calling in and out
Text
Gfx acceleration
Sound

The Broken:
Wifi
status bar
cm7 settings crash
FM radio is a no go so far
3/4 of the rom is in chinese LMFAO

Not tested:
Bluetooth
data, cant get to system bar lol

any questions just ask! imma be hard at work on this bish!

update!
fixed status bar!
fixed cm settings
fixed wifi!

no data as of yet!
still in chinese!

adb and all root seems to work!
camera works (back camera perfect, front is upside down)
video works ( same as above)

No force closes
can oc to 1.9 stably =O

the honor!!! u used it system files and everything. . . took out the boot.img put mercury kernal into the boot image and put it back together

i feel stupid.... i can change laugues in the system settings =] they didnt deleate the laugues in the rom

well nver mind, the system is in english the rest is still chinese! but i can read shit now! i think imma have to replace almost every apk on here lmfao

sound is kinda bad and no so clean though.... hope beats audio fixes this up lol

cm-7.2.0 gingerbread 2.3.7 running smooth memory is at 164/350 running music. . . . . all cm settings seem to work

you shouldnt need a new one. :P just change the language LOL

You need apk I have some from the glory's cm7 4.0 3 its crazy the phone is ics but they put cm7 on it so they could custom it

Finally startimg to see some rom developmentt, u need any help??

it comes with some shittty chinese keyboard not even near qwerty. . . and yea cm7 is 100% working, not sure about data yet, im in a bad spot atm! i need to fix camera from being upsidedown, an english keyboard and really not much more, fm radio want go on, but idk lol i might look at that later! might release this tomorrow its SOOOO stable! just to show how close the honor is to the mercury!
ill walk outside later and see if i get mms and data! i got a call out before i lost signal =]

i also need a media app of some kind! music and video, there chinese lol... ill force google market on it thats np.

oh and i need a calander, imma try the mercs see if it will work! srry for sloppy post, im checking as i type

oh and so far gps is a no go
