Cricket Huawei Ascend II not receiving sms

Hi, my name is Kadeem and I have a Huawei Ascend II with Cricket and starting yesterday, I can't receive any text messages from other phones. But for some strange reason, I can receive notification from social sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) through text messages. I've done all of the typical troubleshoot things that Cricket tech service says to do and they couldn't help so if you can it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I had this happen on a custom rom or two. Try opening voice dialer and say "apn". check to see if your carrier(cricket is selected. If not select it. If its not there hit menu and add apn. Input these settings and save. Select and reboot.

Try opening voice dialer app and say "apn" slowly. If you don't have the voice dialer, look for Root Toolbox on market(free). That has an option to open apn settings.
