Wink Can US Cellular Galaxy S3 be flashed to Cricket?

    Hi,
Can the US Cellular Galaxy S3 be flashed to work on Cricket with 4G LTE working? I was trying to research if the bandwidths match up on the radios, but had no luck. If anyone can answer and has a tutorial, please let me know.

    Thank,
    Freddy Foxx

I'm not sure about LTE but I can ask one of the TUSC guys for you. It would have 3G for sure.

    Edit:
What I've found is that USC uses 700 or 1700MHz for LTE and that Cricket also uses 1700MHz. It's possible but I'm not entirely sure that it will connect

Thanks very much. It would be nice if QPST or another flashing software could verify this. If anyone has the device and skill set to do it, please inform me of the result.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S3/ US CELLULAR VARIANT: MMS WORKING NOW. I was having issues with getting the mms to work on my s3 flashed to cricket and was using SINEWAVES way of doing it with Go SMS Pro but have gotten it to work with the stock MMS on the 4.1.1. All i did was get the mms APN 55$ plan download from this site, i cant remember who posted it but thank you. i downloaded APN back up and restore and disabled the ICS check on the settings on APN back up and restore. Then with an app manager converted it into a system app and fixed permissions so it would write to APN settings and restarted and it worked. I tried this earlier with no sucess, but what i did different was turn off the phone and remove the pesky 4 G LTE card before writing the APN settings. With the 4G LTE card out it will still work but not display the 3G symbol, but write the APN settings with it out and then put back in again after writing the settings and you will have both working MMS and your 3G symbol. I now have a fully flashed galaxy S3 with working MMS on the stock MMS.apk it came with on my phone. If i can help anyone the same way ppl have helped me on this forum let me know i will be glad to help.
