Link: Custom recovery!
This is a working version of CWM Recovery for the Admire, which is the exact same model as our Vitality, tested it out and it works. Had just bought one used so I felt it would be a good time to test it.
I will post a nandroid backup of stock (with the stupid demo games removed) asap.
Almost forgot, here's the link:

I have 2 question regarding this.
What version of android is it? 2.3.3, 2.3.6?
What did you use to create the backup? Do you have instructions on how to do it as I would like to backup before using this image?

You have to flash the custom recovery first, I am no longer aware of what version it is as I do not have the phones in my possession at the time being. Maybe someone who has recovered it can tell you.
Anyways once you flash the custom recovery you can create a backup by selecting the appropriate options in recovery.

Are you implying that it is not possible to create a nandroid backup of my vitality rom? However if I flash yours to my phone using odin I will be able to create nandroid backups of my new rom in the future presumibly because you have created some type of facility to enable this in your rom?

There is currently no support for the r720 in cwm in fact this is one of the reasons why people are bricking their phones. which model of phone did you select from the list of phones when installing cwm to create your nandroid backup? I presume if you haven't bricked your phone or installed cwm before you bricked it you can use cwm to recover your image listed above? Otherwise its odin, right?

You use odin to flash the custom recovery..
If you so wish to use my backup you would do so from the CWM you flashed from Odin..
Please stop trying to make this easy en-devour so complicated!

But I'll say one more time.. the main reason I posted the backup was for those who want to fully flash the Samsung Admire to cricket.

Ok well before I flash my phone with your rom. I would like to know how to create a nandroid ba kup of my rom. I would use the method you used to create to create the a nandroid backup above. Its a direct question. How did you create that rom? Or is it because you didn't? Or did you flash cwm with odin to create the backup.? If so how do I do this?

It's not a rom, it's a nandroid backup of the stock rom, it is rooted with some bloatware removed.
So no I did not create anything, I simply made a nandroid backup of a rom created by samsung.....
Very simple, as I have already stated, goto the link in the OP, odin the cwm, enter recovery mode, than go to backup..
Please don't make this difficult on yourself or others.
You really have no reason to "flash this rom" if you have a vitality that is working fine, you can root it yourself and then uninstall what you wish.
