Congratulations, Android community, you’ve done it. After the huge
backlash

that HTC got from locking the EVO 3D’s bootloader, the company seems to have gotten the message. HTC’s CEO, Peter Chou, took to Facebook to let us know that they’re truly sorry and that they won’t do it again. Specifically, Chou said:

It’s okay, HTC, we forgive you. How do you guys feel about this news? Will you consider buying an HTC device even more now? We’d like to know. Meanwhile, Hip hip hooray! Score one for the Android community.
