What's the limitation if not rooted?

I admit I am lazy and looks like rooting the phone needs some efforts. I just want to use it as an mp3 player or occasionally Google apps tablet. What if I don't root the phone? I can move my apps to SD card so space is not an issue if I don't delete bloatware. Any other critical reasons to root it?

Really if your just using it for that no.... The main reasons to root are:
    1. because I can... and want to, cause I'm a geek and want root!
    2. Installing custom roms (unlocks things like hdmi mirroring and other junk)
    3. Freezing or removing Boatware
    4. installing software to make your phone work better, or work at all, or do something that it can't normally do (custom apk for MMS for cricket/45 dollar plan proxy server/screenshot apps/overclocking/Unlock wireless tether for locked phones)
    5. ability to install unsigned software (most phones now allow this without rooting, check your app settings to see if it's available)

That's about all I can think of really. If your happy with how it works and don't need/want any of the things listed above, your not limiting yourself at all.
