    Xperia-X500 Rom v1.4 for BaseBand 10 Score X500 Only

Based off Stedman420's s420rom 3.1 rom, Modified and Posted with his Permission!

    Noteable Features:

    Loads of bloat removed
Extended power menu to include reboot and reboot to recovery
1% accurate battery mod with battery circle icons

    Pinch-zoom supported in browser
    Browser replaced with Dolphin Browser
    Gallery replaced with QuickPic
Working flash player pre-installed as user app
    Font replaced with roboto font
Transparent notification dropdown and pop-up menus
Added settings shortcut to notification dropdown
Carrier text removed from notification dropdown and replaced with jelly bean style time and date

My 03speed init.d script(for sd and nand read ahead speed)
My 05dc_check init.d script(for helpin to make sure dalvik-cache stays where it's supposed to while usin DT's A2Sd)

*Check here for a Complete List of Stedman420's Mods:
Stripped_Mod Custom Rom Mod For Cricket Score

    Changed some Apps Around
Different Launcher Based on the Sony Xperia S
Lightly Themed but Enuff to get a very Nice, Sleek Look(Working on More ATM)

This rom is extremely fast. I litterally Loaded it down on Purpose with apps(160 to be exact) and not one hickup(116meg free internal storage Reported(still had more)). Stedman420 did an extremely nice job on his newest version and this is my take on it.

*One thing to note is that this ROM works best with an sd-ext partition on your SD Card(the Bigger it is the More you can Install) - Please Note that Initial Boot time is longer then normal. it may also take 2 minutes after for all scripts to complete and fully enhance the system.

    Things Added:

    Cosmic Flow LWP - Added

    Xperia Toggle Widget - Added

as a matter of fact there is. and it's been fixed by stedman420. what internal storage reports isn't correct but as you install more that number won't drop much at all. trust me. if your sdcards sd-ext is 2gig. you'll have 2gig+148meg of space to install apps. it works. and works well.

and please let me know what your thoughts are on it. any improvements you can think of. things you dislike or like. any and all comments are welcome. i'm open to ideas anyone has to make it better so..

    don't hold back.

awesome rom i definitely like the boot logo update. i also like the speed of it. i installed an sd speed increase and set it to 2048 and it was even faster, stock on the rom was 148. just something to look into. there is also an app i use fresh network pro to help with the signal cause for some reason it takes forever to switch over to a better tower. good call on the solid explorer, i have been using root explorer compared to that it sucks. thanks goes to all who worked on it, we all appreciate it. hope we get more people to make suggestions!

Ok I'm curious what apk are you usin for the sd read speed. Cause I've actually made an init.d script that's also included in this rom that takes care of read speed better than the apk's on play store and seems to get the settings to stick better. This script sets read speed at 2048 already so I'm curious if the apk might be giving you a false reading or if there was an error with the script in your case. You can verify the sd read speed without use of the apk by following this file path using a root file browser
    /sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb
If that file says 2048 than the script is working and there's no need for the apk. As this would be the only thing the apk does. The default is actually 128 and my script sets that file and a few others at 2048 so an apk shouldn't be needed.
Sorry OvrDriVE about jumpin in here but I'm just wonderin if my script is still workin fine like it does on my phone or if the apk isn't reading the speed right

thank you for the feedback. will look into integrating fresh network if i can if not maybe we can get the settings from it integrated. i prefer root explorer actually but as i can't include it i had to find an alternative and love solid explorer. stedman420 actually deserves alot of the credit for this rom as it is based off his stripped mod v2.1, this is just my take on his original work. glad you like it though. i am still working on theme elements. so soon on an update for them. have done a few other things that will appoear in next update as well. glad you like it though. am hoping as we get more roms going we can maybe get a kernel for an ics port. who knows maybe even jb.
