ok, i am having a world of problems getting this working.. little background, bought this phone off a guy, came with verizon sim card with all the old info on it (numbers, prl, etc)
i have done boths way with some card in and out..

1)with sim card out.. i flashed with cdma workshop and qpst no problem,. if i dial 611 i get 'welcome to cricket'..but if i called a regular number i get 'to make a collect call' or something about a b-band service.. .. texting doesnt work.. in about phone status, min, phone number, prl is all unknown... also, if i call *228 i get some stuff about putting in a sim card, and same thing wheen booting up the phone, phone says it requires a sim card..
2)with sim card in.. same thing, as above except in phone status it has old verizon information in min, number, and prl...

some help would be greatly appreciated,, about wasted a day trying to get this thing to just work with talk and text!

It was a long hard road, been at this for 9 hours (part of that rooting) and most of the time backtracking because of ID-10T errors, but I finally finished and dialed 611 on my freshly rooted and flashed Bionic and I've gotta give kudos to CricketFlash! I got my Bionic from Ebay and had a week to read as much about flashing and rooting as I could and out of all the hours I put in reading this tutorial seemed to be the most complete and straight forward, and in the end it worked. Thanks dude, I tip my hat to you!
