    QPST Error

Now I have flashed many RAZRs before using the tutorials here no problem.
Just got my fiance's maxx today. Rooted it, removed LTE and then proceeded to flash it. I keep getting the error "NV_SLOT_CYCLE_INDEX_I" "NV_FAIL_S" when writing. Read from phone works fine. Any ideas? Thanks

    Re: QPST Error

Do you have the correct Motorola driver installed for qpst to be able to talk to the phone correctly?

Sent from my EVO 4G LTE

    May be this would help:
Factory reset. Put your sim back. Put in bp tools. Make sure to set it to NV items (if by any chance it changes). Reboot. Then read via qpst and write. I had PPP issues before with one razr, but I had to SBF and redo.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?

I still get "NV_SPC_CHANGE_ENABLED_1" when trying to write.

Fixed it: Had to change in CDMAWS to NV Only and it wrote fine after that!!!

That's a crucial step. Just to make sure others do not forget it, unless you put the phone in NV ONLY, qpst will think that you are writing to the sim card. So you will get a bunch of errors.
