    What is best for me?

I live in Chicago and im trying to flash my ICS device to Cricket.
I haven't found a store where they can perform this, and i've tried both tutorials on here (stickies). Can any one help?
I Was thinking, is it possible to make it prepaid with a VZ prepaid sim and cut it? thanks

To be honest, I would go with Page Plus in your case.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?
