Anybody using the iPhones on Cricket network yet?

    Hello

My wife and I are thinking of purchasing the iPhone 4s, but are a little gun-shy as I'm not sure how bad the network is... the saving grace is that they will refund the purchase of the iPhone + $55 monthly plan if returned within 30 days... but not sure if 20 days (to account for receipt of phone for both sending and receiving) is enough time to evaluate...

Please do share if you are using this already.

    Many thanks!

    jeff

I believe the best way to figure out if it will work well in your area is to talk to other Cricket users OR Sprint users if you can't find any Cricket customers.

They pretty much share the same network. Cricket does have some of its on towers as well. The flashed iPhone worked well for me, so I can't imagine a Cricket one being worse.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

Cricket will refund the price of the phone, but not the 1st month service.

the dealer told me that i couldnt take my phone back, once it was opened to activate that was it. otherwise i would have taken it back most likely. they told me the area i work in is in a dark green zone, i go to work and i cant even make a call without standing on top of the hill, cant dl an app unless i leave my phone on top of the hill in my car.

dont get me wrong, in urban areas, and no peaks and valleys, i wouldnt have any sort of doubts about this phone or the service, you cant beat what they give you, and its not just the price it is good service if you get a good dealer and you are around good service locations, but i think they fudge their area map so have a friend who has cricket check for me.

also for some reason, it may have been just the phone, the black one works better than a white one. a guy came into my work and he could get 1 bar and mine is a deadzone. but ive been told by AT&T customers they rushed to get the white one and had to exchange it for black.
