    Anyone else having issues? My download speed is 0.04!

    I am in Washington, DC. I have a cricket wireless broadband modem. My download speed for the past 2 hours has been 0.04...can't even download my email! Anyone else having issues? Is there anyone to call about this? It is 12:51am here. Any other cricket user sites where they post outages like this? Thanks.

    Sounds like you went over your bandwidth limit. Check your usage on mycricket.com and let us know.

    They are... That's why you're getting the .04 and instead of .00. Yeah it sucks, and that's probably why Cricket is losing broadband customers. Their advertising left too much small print and now people are expecting more.

    i have been listening to an internet radio station (off and on) for the past 3 days, cause i've been home sick in bed. so i'm being penalized for that? i've been a customer for over a year, and this is the first time i've done streaming like this for any length of time. is this what they call throttling? how long do they penalize me for? and what can we do about it besides cancel?

    Your speeds will stay slow until your next billing cycle. So, soon after your bill is due, you should get faster speeds again.

    Unfortunately, there really isn't much that can be done.

    This is what throttling is. You're correct. What plan are you on?
