    1 GB is an amount of data, so it would depend on how much data you use. If you use your phone for basic web browsing and email, you should be fine. If you use it to watch a lot of video, stream radio, tethering, etc, you will probably reach the 1 GB cap quicker. Remember, even if you hit 1 GB, your service will continue to work, you will just be getting slower speeds.
