    No service, account is paid

    I have a ZTE Chorus. I had some issues with automatic payment not working at the beginning of the month, got it fixed, had service for the past week. I know my phone was working as little as 15 hours ago because I successfully received a call. Now I have no service (just the red X over the signal bars) even going outside, I normally have 3-4 bars even inside. I tried putting it into airplane mode and back, as that sometimes refreshes the signal, and tried powering it off for a while, but nothing.
    Any help? I don't have another phone so I can't call customer service.

    The signal bar on the phone has nothing to do with when you pay your bill. I would take the battery out for a minute and than try it. Also see if anyone around you has cricket and signal. Could be a down tower also.

    Thanks for letting me know. After a couple hours yesterday I got signal again without doing anything I didn't already mention. Now it's gone again. Taking the battering out for a few minutes didn't help.
    Unfortunately I recently moved and don't know anyone in the area with cricket service.

    if you have found a fix for the red x over signal bars NO Signal please let me know cricket is not helping thank you

    I haven't figured it out... eventually, after a couple days it just fixed itself. Does it again occasionally from time to time, but it feels more like legitimately having no signal

    i just joined this forum, i need help anyone... since yesterday afternoon my phone has "no service". i have paid my bill since its auto bill pay. i have turned phone back and on so many times and is still not helping. any ideas?
