Question Droid 4 showing as an iPhone during account setup??? Wtf??

    Hi Chris and co!

I've successfully flashed every Moto Droid from 1-3 to cricket so far, and now have my hands on a Droid 4(XT894). With that being said, I'm planning on flashing this phone to CricKet in the next couple days.

    Cutting to the chase:

I went into a CricKet store, today, to setup/ pay for service and to get the MDN and MIN for the process. I ended up leaving the store 25 mins later after being told that my phone was showing as an iPhone in the system, and as such, could not be setup at this time. During the process, she asked for the MEID. In which I supplied her with the IMEI that was shown on the settings screen. She was fine with that for a few moments, then told me that it showed as an iPhone and she needed the ICCID. When i provided her with this, she looked puzzled and replied that "Its coming up as unknown."

I'd really like some assistance with this issue, as I'm currently without a phone until I resolve this. Thanks heaps in advance, as I'm quite sure there is a work around or something I must have missed.

You need to convert the IMEI to an MEID using the converter available on this website. Leave off the last digit of the IMEI when entering it. You will get a 256... MEID.
