Cricket No Throttle file for rooted users, does it really work?

I'm using it on my evo and I wanted to know if anybody else is using it and what is your experience with it?

BTW this is a file that prevents Cricket from lowering your data usage after the 1gb limit.

I'm thinking it's one of those throttling apps for a specific user and not Cricket? Pretty sure Cricket just logs your data usage at the server and then decides to throttle you. I don't know why all carriers don't do that. It'd make sense (for them at least).

It's a modified service.jar file that replaces the one on the system. system>framework>service.jar

The rooted users on Sprint use it too and it works for them. I hope it works for us too. This file is modified to work for cricket instead of Sprint.

Have you looked at your cricket account online and see if your data usage went up? Cause if did then I don't see that mod working... But let us know

Swyped this from my Droidx using tapatalk

Throttle removers actually do work. I use one on my incredible and use about 10-15 gigs a month and it never slows down.

I've tried the unthrottle file for Liberty on my Droid X and it SEEMS to have worked, but I can't really tell since I'm always on WiFi anyways.
