How does the flash work?, Will I get one number in 2 devices?

I know all the responses i might get. but probably I didn't search properly.

So my question is this: I have a kyocera cheap phone, I will get my Droid X2 in a couple of days. I simply flash the X2 with my current account information and it will work right away or I have to get the esn changed?
if so after or before the flash? How does that work?
And if its possible to have these 2 devices working with one account that means I could get a galaxy tab and put my account info only for the data connection?

Well, thank you for your time

so, as far as I am aware, you can only have one esn active at a time per line on cricket. In other words yes, you have to call cricket to get the ESN changed to your X2. (or have it changed here by the forum admins, free for supporting members )

Here is the X2 forum with a tutorial right at the top for your viewing pleasure: Verizon Motorola Droid X2

the last question, can you have data working on 2 devices.. well the answer to that is that I belive it breaks Crickets TOS. they might term your account.. blah blah blah. Anyone feel free to chime in.

Flash The phone First, make sure you have 3G icon up and running.
if 3G is up,web and apps should work(make Sure they Do)

If Everything is working properly, all you have to do is activate the Droids esn on you're account for Talk and Text......and You Are done

Yes You Can Have 2 Devices On One Number, but talk and text will only work on the one that you activated on you're account.the other device will only have Web Access.

IT will go Extra Slow Though, since you will be sharing data for 2 devices.....
    but yes it is possible

Hope I Helped You out in any way
