Enlighten VS700 will not hard reset

I have an LG Enlighten here that has a lock pattern. I attempt to hard reset it by pressing the volume down, home and power button until the LG logo appears. The devices then appears to be resetting. But when it boots back up it didn't reset.

I have searched all over for this and I am hoping to find someone on here with a little bit of insight on this. lol

When I press the key combination I mentioned, it doesn't even give me that screen. It just goes to a screen that seems like it is resetting. I also looked at that option as far as the tot file and I wasn't able to find that.

    Thanks though

The Phone has a lock pattern on it that is not known. I have no way of getting it into the USB debugging mode. I have even tried the adb method and evidently it isn't in the USB debugging because the phone isn't showing up.

I have seen this problem on Samsungs and HTC. Those are simple, just use ODIN or in HTC use an installer. Never have seen this problem on the LG models before. lol
