    Engage LT n8000

    Re Re Re

Well....... I guess I am going to have to try to teach myself how to write custom ROMS. Did a LITTLE research earlier today and it seems to be fairly involved process. But, I guess I will just have to learn. Virtual machines are no new thing for me, but I have absolutely NO experience with MAC code.. Seems that is should be moderately easier than PC code though since MAC was the original anyway. Will see if theres a book for dummies LMAO

You are very correct in saying that's it a very involved process but becoming a developer is quite rewarding. Personally I just don't have the time to devote to it like I would like to. I would first suggest this link
Cook your own Android ROM | Little Green Robot

just to get you started. And
Unleashed PrePaids - Unleash the Power of Your Prepaid Phone!!!

is a great place to meet other aspiring developers such as Stedman420 who has done most of the developing of the ZTE Score and Engage. Just a heads up though the reason you won't find many people tackling the ZTE Androids is because of ZTE repeatedly refusing to comply with US laws regarding the release of their source code. And so that's the reason you will find so much more development going on with a lot of the other Androids. Hope this helps a little and gives you a bit more insight before jumping in and getting your feet wet but I for one encourage you to see what you can do with the LT. I have yet to see anyone else tackle the LT and more than likely for the reasons already stated. Good luck with your endeavors.

Here is the one I posted

    http://unleashedprepaids.com/showthread.php?tid=8700

All that's really needed for any zip to work in stock recovery is to sign it with test keys so you can use the latest update zip that Chainfire posts as well.

Just use caution using some zips with stock recovery as it reads things a little differently
