    Muve Music APK 03-15-2013

Anyone have this that can post it please? My ZTE Engage works with the updates as far as I know, but the Markey says it's incompatible with my device which is still running 2.8.X. Also, anybody see the new Engage LT?

I just checked and we're not on list of supported devices yet so probably gonna have to wait on the update

Also the Engage V8000 is running ICS 4.0.4 and a 3.0.8 kernel

I'm not sure on the Engage LT though I haven't heard much about it yet you my check out crickets site for that

A note about the new Engage. Probably going to keep this forum for both phones since they're pretty darn similar. Thoughts?

I'm thinkin they might need seperate threads cause from what I've heard the LT has a 1GB processer vs V8000 and it's 1.4GB processer so likely they used a diff kernel. Also I could be wrong on this but doesn't the LT have a 5MP rear cam vs the 8MP rear cam the V8000 has. Anywho my thought is I'm just not sure how much that works on the V8000 will work on the LT. Most likely though they will need seperate recoveries and roms

But that's just my thoughts on it I still don't know much about the LT

EDIT: Ok I'm havin trouble findin accurate info on the camera for the LT. Some places list it at 8MP and I've heard it was 5MP but Cricket has it listed as a 3.2MP rear cam but that doesn't sound right to me Lol Does anyone know the accurate specs for the engage LT as it seems a pain to find Lol

The point was that it will not generate enough interest for its own section. Just specify which device you have in the title of the thread.

Ok no real skin off my nose Lol

    However here was my thoughts

1.) It seems like it would be the same as puttin the zte x501 and the zte x500 in the same thread. They have identical specs except for the processer yet they're very much a different phone what works for one does not generally work for the other

2.) After selecting a device thread there's no organization to anything and it's already generally a real challenge to find what your lookin for unless it's been posted recently and/or is stickied. Which already makes for answering the same question multiple times. I really can't imagine tryin to sift through to find a specific device in what already gets chaotic.

Sub categories in the device forums would be awesome that's for sure. Such as help, roms, root or such. I can say things like this have definitely made me wanna post less here. Now hopefully thats not taken the wrong way I mean no disrespect in sayin that and have always appreciated the people and help I've recieved here but thought I'd share my humble opinion

WEdit :ew about the x501 since May of 2012. Didn't know Cricket was going to hold on to phones until they were old before they even came out.

It's hard to subdivide forums when hardly any device has more than a handful of posts.

Do a recruiting campaign and get more users on the forum. People posting the same thing over again is probably the only thing that can get enough ads displayed to pay the 250 dollar dedicated server fee. We got kicked off shared hosting a while ago.

Edit: People can't even post in the right forum as is. This post could have gone under Android apps vs a specific device.

KISS is under full effect. Let's not confuse people too much =).

This is one of those topics where I have to agree with both points of views. Yes, devices should be kept in seperate forums/threads. And I have to agree too, that this is really not the place to be discussing forum issues. I am of the opinion that there is an awful lot of disarray already on CU.com I've gone through many forums where information is so outdated ........ while it's a lot of fun reading the history of how we got from rooting a device to literally turning it inside out and turning a device in a work of art, it's still very old. I think CU needs to go through all the forums and archive/reorganize and in some case even delete out old threads that are no longer even relevant. I know over on XDA Devolopers website I wouldn't even get away with postiing this but where else is there for one to throw out thoughts about the mess we have to live with here on CU.com? I do kinda like the laid back atmosphere that CU.com has tried to embrace, however, chaos in any form is not necessarily always prodcutive.

Anyway, that's my two cents worth on both topics.

Sorry for posting about an app here, I freq this forum more often than the other, imagine that, but also the apps seems to be available for my phone and not compatible with my "new" phone. Sorry. P.S. I think the LT should get a new "forum" since they are actually different phones, if it doesn't make too many forums, otherwise it may make a mess.

It's quite appropriate to post about an app here and very much appreciated! And thanks for your feedback as well on the need for a separate forum for the Engage LT.

I agree 100% you should post about an apk in a device forum when asking if it's compatible for said device or wondering if someone has it for your said device. So seems like the right post in the right place to me too

Since we've gone off topic anyways, has anyone noticed there are no real mods here?

No one monitors anything really and puts stuff in the right place etc. XDA has loyal and devoted people that moderate because they like having that status and will work to keep it.

I think this site will have to grow and cover more carriers soon.

Not that it matters to me anymore as I've stopped dev'in but yes lack of mods and organization is why I left this site

EDIT: And btw next time you tell someone to recruit people you should do your homework and pay attention to the thousands I brought in because of my work on the score before I started moving over to UPP. Until then I used to be 100% faithful to this site only. Anyway food for thought
