When is Cricket releasing their first Android phone with ICS 4.x?

I was under the impression from multiple sources the at least one ICS Phone would be released in June. Now, I'm hearing August. One from ZTE and one from HUAWEI.

I've almost purchased the HTC ONE, and or the Galaxy 3. Like Cricket, love $55 a month, but need ICS.

Any info would really help me from making a bad financial decision.

Mostly just bored with 2.3.x and this phone, need more ram too. It's been a great phone, but the HTC ONE and or the Galaxy S3 is getting really hard to pass up.

I was expecting the new Huawei and ZTE with ICS in June or July at the latest.

A rep from Huawei told me late June.

    Thanks for the info

Because your bored? That's not a need, that's a want.

FYI it's not up to Huawei or any other manufacturer when I phone is released. That carrier has final say on that. Manufacturer reps know very little when it comes to release dates.

Yeah I know but I heard that from several people. Plus, Cricket did almost nothing to the Mercury. One reason it was such a good phone. In my opinion...

If you have that much money to blow on a phone, why do you care about using it on Cricket? I'd love to have either of those phones, I just don't have a snowball's chance on Tattoine ever affording one.

I agree, the GSIII is an AMAZING phone. I would love to have one flashed to cricket. But I've gone through the "I wish I had ics" phase. I even downloaded ics lauchers, camera and messaging. But I can't even see spending the money for a GS3 just for ics. I'm fine with my mercury

Couldn't wait, got the HTC one x. ICS rocks, buy taking this back on the 6th to get the galaxy s3. Awesome phone but no removable sd card on the HTC???

I have no regrets paying twice the monthly service for these high-end phones. Will have to cut back on things like eating everyday, but worth it.

    Mercury for sale $125
    Purchased 4/3

You sound like a child.. You wouldn't make decisions like that if you had a family to take care of.

Thought Cricket was turning that off pretty soon? Also, phone would be really expensive. Paid $149. Vs $500 at least. Yea, it was a horrible financial decision, but these new high-end phones rock! No regrets.

    Need a Mercury?

GS3s are expensive, but at least Tmobile isn't hiding that you're going to pay for it. $229 plus $20 a month for 20 months ON CONTRACT.
