    Htc evo lte get jelly bean without loosing flash??

    i have an evo lte with ics but want to get jelly bean, without loosing flash.

    Some rooted devices might fail when updating, but I don't think update will kill your flash. With sprint htc phones, updates normally leave NAM in tact. Youtube and mms will need to be set up again though.
    If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?

    May i pop in? The flash, and the ROM are two totally different area's of the partition tables, The way HTC phone's are set up, It is very hard to screw them up after you have them rooted and setup properly. Case and point.... flashing a new rom is only formatting the area's of

    ./Data
    ./System

    Other than that you should not have "oh crap" access to the partition which holds the Radio / Dev/block area's

    You should be fine.
