    Hi:

First of all thanks for the tutorial, i have some question

1.- I followed the tutorial, after finish everything, i reboot my phone (sch-i535, verizon), and then i go to setting--about phone-- and the phone number seems right, and the MIN, but when i put in the sim card, another number and another min comes in. what does this mean?

2.- the first time i did the tutorial, i was able to do all the steps, but when i tried once again, at the tab of mobile id, none of the profiles have a green check mark, and i got the error "cps error bad param" what is wrong? (i read all the posts)

3.- After reading all the parameters of the tutorial in DFS, the phone number and the MIN seems right again (appears my phone number and my MIN), but when i try to cal 611 or any other number, a recording comes in saying "the device from where you are calling does not agree with our records" something like that (the message is in spanish) so, i'm still in verizon or am i in cricket?

4.- The SPC for verizon SGS3 is "000000"?

    Thank you in advance.

You are still in verizon. At the beginning of the tutorial is a video, "Obtain your MSL" That video helps you determine your phones MSL (aka SPC). Everyone has a different one and you must go through the steps all over again. The SPC must be input into DFS to make your phone writable. When this is done correctly DFS will show your phone as unlocked in the log. At least that is how it works for sprint. I'm still new to this but thats what I did for a sprint phone and I can at least call 611 Hope this helps

PRL is not the same thing as SPC. prl is the file that tells the phone which towers to use. SPC is the 6 digit code needed to be able to flash the phone to another carrier.

and technically the spc(service provider code) is a one time code the msl(master subsidy lock) is the one for the longhaul, and if you have CDMA 3.9.0(maybe even earlier) theres a tool that generates your sprint msl just by entering the meid. if your lost/dont have CDMA 3.9.0 PM me your esn/meid(format doesnt matter) and ill send back the msl......but dont post your esn/meid in an open forum, ya should know that

again i may be wrong, but i definately think the poster just got anagrams mixed up

EDIT: just reread your post, yes all verizon msl's are 000000

You are still in Diagnostic Mode...

Type in ##diag# , and change it back to ptp or mtp...

Thats a great torrent, but it still doesnt beat the unified toolkit, that as far as rooting the phone, does everything for you

As fas as flashing, Ive never needed anything other than DFS
