I guess I spoke too soon, all the MMS settings spontaneously revert to Sprint settings.
Any idea how to fix that would be most appreciated.

I have seen it suggested and I have actually tried rolling back to a previous stock ROM, that does not work at all. The phone becomes unresponsive and continually shows error messages that certain services have stopped. I muddled through that on 4.1.1 just long enough to get the MSL in order to flash to Cricket, then right back to stock 4.1.2.

    *edit*

For those still having MMS issues, you can try the free messaging app "8sms" from Google Play store. It allows you to manually put in the following settings in the app itself:
    1) MMSC
    2) Proxy
    3) Port
    4) Your phone number (MDN).

I have not found any other messaging app that allowed you to manually enter in your MDN. This is especially required on flashed phones for sending/receiving MMS.
