Cricket Wireless Samsung Galaxy S3 4G LTE Root and Recovery (CWM)

UPDATE 11/24/2012: This is the root method I suggest (follow the link). It is tested by me on a Cricket Wireless Samsung Galaxy S3. There are videos in the thread and it also shows how to install a custom recovery (CMW). I believe it is the easiest and least likely to result in any kind of problems.

    DISCLAIMER

At this point, this is not a tested method. The decision that this tutorial *SHOULD* root the Cricket Wireless Samsung Galaxy S3 is based on the fact that it works on many other variants TO INCLUDE the US Cellular version which SHARES the SAME model number as the Cricket Wireless version.

No one here is responsible for your actions. Cricket Wireless is NOT responsible for your attempt to root your device. You are solely responsible.

Possible side effects are not being able to use your device because it has been bricked. Hopefully someone will be able to obtain the full ODIN for the device.

Will the stock restore still work properly even though they are intended for Sprint?
