To keep the download notifications from reappearing, go to Settings > More... > Application Manager > Swipe over to ALL > Scroll down to Download manager AND Downloads > Clear data and cache from both. Then reboot your phone. You should not receive the notifications anymore.

Yes Sir I did... I am not objecting for now, I intend to try out the Wallet and Knox functions without possible security concerns

I also want to mention, that I have certainly not been a fan of stock Touchwiz by any means, and always found the additional bloat and battery drain more than annoying. However with this latest update I am finding that I like this enough to keep this for my daily use. I have found there is much better memory management, is consistently quick and responsive, and have not found the 'bloat' to be intrusive, rather im finding some actual welcome functions. Also to my suprise I used my phone heavily all day long at work and my battery is still at 73%! I do have an extended battery, but it still would have been drained significantly more that that.

I'm going to take a guess and say no. Gsm and cmda radios I believe. I might be wrong though. Anyone?

AT has been handling the S3 as of late. I'll grab this Odin tar as well as the S4 tar and play with them. I'm pretty sure there's no difference between the 2 other than the kernel.

When you take this OTA from what I've read when you root, flash recovery, or any modification the Knox enabled bootloader triggers a new flag never seen before that version.

However, I've been reading a research thread on XDA and many people are saying that the S4's eFuse is triggered by the bootloader. I'm going to assume then that if you update via Odia with a package that excludes the new bootloader. My wife is at work now, however this info is free game for anyone that wants to grab the tarball and rip out the aboot.mbn and tz.mbn. That way you can use the 4.3 FW without the hassle.
My work on the CDMA Cricket S3 and S4 are now obsolete. Thanks for all the support when I was actively working on them!

Feel free to PM me only after you've posted on the forums.

YES It does! I have been using it since 6:00am without issue. Running rooted and bloat free on 4.3 and LOVING IT! It will trip KNOX however.

You will need to update SuperSU from the playstore. Then after you run SuperSU it will disable KNOX and you will have full root access Please post your results here or here.

Will do. I'm currently backing up before running the update. Any special instructions for the auto root? I've never used it before

Nothing special. I would use the one from the link I posted in post #41. It is the only one I've used and tested.

    1. Put your S3 into download mode.
    2. Run the included Odin app
    3. Click PDA
    4. Select "CF-Auto-Root-d2usc-d2usc-schr530u.tar.md5"
    5. Click start, let it do its thing
    6. Update SuperSU from the PlayStore.
    7. Enjoy

Nothing wrong with being cautious with a fairly expensive device!! Enjoy :-)

    Off topic:
Anyone else noticed much better battery life?
