U said it yrself "big carriers". Means more development. dont blame our devs who put the time in to make our phones better. Just go to one of the bigger carriers is my suggestion if u want more development

    It's our fault actually.

Think about how much less support we would have if people didn't take a proactive stance and make a site about Cricket. Just kidding but for real. Everyone who has knowledge about Cricket service and devices needs to be in one place.

and they need to start/continue to churn out stuff. We appreciate it. Some of us...

I actually like Cricket compared to others...

It's a give and take deal. with teh bigger carriers like Verizon you pay a premium for that convenience. I for one, would rather save quite a few dollars a month than worry about constant updates and roms and everything else. I use my phone for just that, a phone... if I need flashy bling and extras i use my PC or tablet...

I've had other carries and was Verizon for a long time... since they started carrying iPhones they our-priced themselves as useful...

    Solution to Cricket sux
1- Get the exact same Galaxy SIII with Verizon
2- Pay $170 a month for an unlimited line at Verizon
4- Get screwed by Verizon, when they send you a nice email saying that after 14 years with them, they will cancel your unlimited data and put you on one of their tier plans.
5-Get the same phone from Cricket and pay only $70 with 10 Gig of data.
6- Be thankful to the developers that are working so hard on our Cricket phones to create new Roms.
7- Finally, think of this, what is more important to you? save $100 every month or pay $170 and get all kind of Roms developed for Verizon, Sprint etc

Hope this will help you make a decision.

Cricket is a good thing, proff is that now T-Mobile wants to follow up into the no contract phone service.

    Thank you all developers.

Or more like " spend 600$ now on a phone and pay 60-70$ a month.
Or pay 300$ now, sign a contract, struggle to pay your expensive bill, and not being able to use more that 2gb of the internet they give you."

One of the reason I got cricket is the monthly bill. It's cheaper then the rest of them and no contract.

Originally the same is said for me. As time went on, I liked Cricket's service more and more with the freedom to choose as opposed to being told to bend over and take it (yeah screw you Sprint) since somehow I owe them 800 bucks and they won't even look into why until I pay it.

Although I am on a contract its because they gave me an offer I couldn't resist. I opened a line with my brother in law (bad idea because we are always fighting. We haven't talked in a month and we live in the same house) since he has had Verizon for years before the LG Dare came out which they (my sis and bro in law) got when it did come out, and have NEVER missed or been late on a payment, and currently has about 5lines (not including me) they told me Its 50$ a month. I pay around 55$ now with Verizon (around 5$ less than cricket) and I was going to buy the Gnexus for a penny on amazon. Instead out down 330$ for an S3. Right now I'm trying to sell my service and go with my brother on T-Mobile. Maybe even get the S4 .

Point is. don't make deals with family, and don't sign a contract. 2 years seems like a short Time, but this contract ends next year in October. That's months after a galaxy s5 will be out.
