My phone shows up as private on custom ROM

Long story short, I'm on the PACMAN ROM On my Galaxy S3, yet whenever I call someone my number shows up as private.

That is generally a service provider issue, not something to do with OS. And usually, it is done by request only, I would contact your provider perhaps it was a coincidence.

It may be as simple as a dialer code similar to the old and now defunct *69.... I would look at those first
My work on the CDMA Cricket S3 and S4 are now obsolete. Thanks for all the support when I was actively working on them!

I tried it but I got the message saying, "This feature is not available for use at this time, dial 611 for customer service."

Check your voicemail and when it's rambling off the options press four and listen to the rest of the options. You are wanting the option to enable the sending of caller ID.

I never knew about this. I called my VM using *98 and sure enough it's there. Good call

Tried what you said and it was disabled by default but I did enable and disable it to see if I got and changes. Checking later today.
