I was looking around for info on a Sprint or Verizon S4 for preorder. The prices are ridiculous for the launch of this new device, but at the same time rumors are flying about a US Cellular variant as well as a Cricket variant at the launch of the device itself. How much would you expect to pay @ Cricket? Certainly not as cheap as the S3. Some sites are reporting as much as $1400 for the USC and Cri variants, while others are reporting $800-900.

Any dealers/corp employees that can weigh in on this? Legit sources would be great other than just the internet rumor mill.

That would be good but since the other carriers are charging 800+ without contracts that's what I'm expecting from a no contracts carrier like cricket

My work on the CDMA Cricket S3 and S4 are now obsolete. Thanks for all the support when I was actively working on them!

It's not out yet of course idiots will ask obnoxious prices and people will pay them. That phone will not be 800 on any carrier unless its like a 64gb model flagship off contract, there will still be the standard 499 entry flagship.

Doesn't make sense considering they accept 128gb flash cards, I've never seen anyone with a need for that much on a phone. Especially with so much cloud storage freely available.

I see them everyday. I know people where 128gb is about 3/4th the size of their music library. I know kids that love games and apps. And then there's girls who love music, games/apps, AND photos Lol.

Also, most (if not, all) Phones only support 32gb or 64gb cards at most.

Well this is true if you pay a monthly fee. If you travel a lot you likely won't have signal in many areas (I75 north of Atlanta for example) because of mountains or flying.

    Note 3 / Galaxy S5

I want to see the device in person first. Going to need a good enough reason to jump ship from a Note 2.

For some reason Verizon signal has been horrible here lately. Might switch to AT&T.

Time to create a CDMA Samsung Galaxy S4 section.

Aren't you in Houston? I've had great signal here lately. Latest baseband rpm and stock ROM (synergy)
The note 2 shouldn't be different from the s3 tho?
