Cricket iPhone 5s to New Cricket

What will the Cricket dudette do when we take my daughter's iPhone 5s in to get GSM'd? Does she need to back everything up to her SIM card? (hah hah iPhone joke). I guess that would be to her laptop. Will they factory reset? How long will it take? we don't know what to expect. Thank you much.

i would not back anything to sim..... plug device into pc or mac, open itunes and click BACKUP. now its all saved!

now head on over to Cricket Store ( Corp ) is best. tell them you has Cricket CDMA iPhone 5s and wish to Merge to Cricket GSM, they might give you NEW SIM CARD! so what ever is on old sim might get lost. Might if u dont know how to use it!

All iPhones 4s, 5, 5s, 5c should work on new Cricket GSM!

    but not Samsungs!

They will give you a new nano sim. Power off device, insert new sim, power up, and you will have LTE and the new cricket service. This is how my wife's went. Very easy and very simple. It did take about a day to get visual voicemail working.

Well, it wasn't that simple. They charged me $10 for the new sim, and created a new account for her on the new Cricket. Took about 20 minutes. The dudette was actually more helpful then the dude at the store. The did give me some irritating news that I will open a new thread about.
