    Tired of no 4G

I have a black iPhone 5 I. Beautiful condition, 3 nice phone cases and I have had a screen cover since the day I got it, which was April 1, 2013. I want a white galaxy S3 for equal trade and the same condition. I even have the box for it as well. Please someone help me cuz I don't think the bigwigs at cricket or apple will be allowing this device to be 4G capable o. Their network.

My work on the CDMA Cricket S3 and S4 are now obsolete. Thanks for all the support when I was actively working on them!

^^ true.. but from what I heard the iphone series will not upgrade to 4g lte where as the sgs3 will. Why iphones wont recieve 4g is beyond me but its kinda frustrating due to the fact my girlfriend was told it would be 4g compatible which is why she bought it over the sgs3. Shame cricket told otherwise just to get a sale.

Download "opensignal" and look under coverage. It will show you a map for each carrier and coverge type.

No cricket straight up told me iphones will not get 4g lte. Even if it is available in your area. The cricket iphone (any type) is not 4g compatible. But that was told to us after she had already purchased it after being previously told it would indeed get 4g. They just wanted a sale.

To carify the cdma iPhone 5 is compatible with LTE just not on the frequency cricket runs their LTE on. The GSM version of the iPhone does have the aws frequency for lte but it wouldn't be a phone without calling or texting capability.

The radio inside the device probably could have been flashed with the appropriate firmware to allow CDMA operation and LTE in the AWS bands. Maybe not. We had even heard rumors that they might.

The failure of the iPhone 5 to really launch Cricket could have been partially because of this.
