    Android OS question

After a period of time using my phone, installing apps, uninstalling apps and general phone use, my phone seems to build up "lag time" executing, booting, etc... Eventually a reflash and app reinstall brings it back to a error less & quicker speed. Also, i've noticed folders/files of uninstalled apps still sitting on the SD card. I thought the Android OS would have kept things more tidy/efficient/cleaner. Is this typical of the OS(2.3.4)?

    EDIT: oooppps, wrong forum.

A lot of apps will stay running in the background even after you close them which takes up processing power. You can dl task killers from the Android marketplace. A few of them have one touch "kill all" features.

Task killers only mask what's running. Everyone you open a app like camera or gallery they stay running. You can just go to settings-applications-manage apps our running apps. That's the best way to stop the apps that's running.
