It's not that I'm bored with it, it's just that the "newness" went away. I notice myself using it a lot, so if I were to switch back to a flip phone I'd miss it, but I don't have as much fun with it as I used to. It's being use as a phone more than anything now.

What I used to do is factory reset it, and I'd see how much faster it is. It would feel like I have a new phone. I'd also turn the brightness all the way up to see how nice the screen is. That would also bring the "newness" back. Another thing you can do is switch to a flip phone. See if you can deal with it for a month. Then, switch back to an Android phone. Then you'll see how much you missed it and how much you rely on it!

I do the SAME thing, i compared my phone to a HTC Evo 3D once and i noticed the screen looked great so i turned my screen brightness way up ; and i completely agree the "newness" of it has faded away !

Well, what phone are you with now? The Huawei Mercury? Do you want to trade? I can give you my Huawei Ascend for your Huawei Mercury, and then we'll switch back in three months. How does that sound?

    I'm kidding..

Another thing you could do to make it feel "new" again is install another ROM, if one is available. I switched to CyanogenMod 7 and it was a great improvement.

I little bored. I think i heard that 90% of apps are hardly ever used. So my phone pretty much is just a phone with about 10 useful apps.
