Bad ESN's - Worth it to buy a phone with one?

Been lurking since the site was created, finally signed up.

It's getting easier, and cheaper, to buy smartphones with bad ESN's. Espcially ones on Verizon. Was wondering what the thoughts are on getting a phone like this & flashing to Cricket. Any thoughts are welcome.

    Thanks!

I really do think its the best way to go. I my self got a HTC EVO for 100 because of the bad ESN. Went to my local cricket and got it flashed in the long run it will be worth it

I would say the same thing. Bad ESNs don't stop you from being able to flash a phone to cricket. So it's not that big of a deal in the end really

I picked up 2 Droid incredibles for 80 a piece with bad esns. worth every cent and way great phones when flashed, way better than what you'll get at that price point from cricket

Wow this thread is supporting member heavy. Thanks all.

I'll do free ESN checks for supporting members. For anyone that is curious what this is, it's making sure the ESN of a device isn't on someone's Cricket account prior to purchase.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

If you need to buy something from (Ebay), please use this LINK every time and support the forum!
