Has anyone tried the $50, $60, $70 new Tmobile pre-paid no contract plan?????

Has anyone tried the $50, $60, $70 new Tmobile pre-paid no contract plan?????
I spoke to a Tmobile rep on the phone and it sounds like a pretty good deal to me she said that I can purchase any used tmobile, or att&t unlocked phone then just call them up and they will mail you a a brand new sim card for a $1.99 and also they are currently waiving a $35.00 activation fee.

    $50 a month unlimited everything:
4g for only the 1st 100mb's but still you get 3G for the rest of the month(compared to Crickets $55 droid plan with 1 GB of 3G then just 1x speed the remainder of the month.

The only other reason that I'm interested in this deal is because Cricket, Verizon, Sprint...basically any CDMA type carrier only gets one bar in the upstairs of my home and no bars in the basement (I miss a ton of calls) and I noticed that my girlfriends Tmobile gets 4-5 bars in my basement.

So what do you think? is this a good deal or should I use a flashed Evo 4G on the Cricket $45 plan??????

If it's better for you coverage wise, it might be a good option.

I wouldn't recommend using an Android on the $45 plan. It's really supposed to be on the $55 plan.

On the $45.00 plan though don't I get 3G speeds the entire month without ever being throttled?
on the $55.00 isn't it throttled after 1 GB?

If I remember correctly, on the $45 plan the 3G speeds are a little slower all the time, but you don't get throttled, and on the $55 plan there is throttling after 1 GB.

Interesting to hear their reception was good. T-Mobile reception was deplorable for me, far worse than Cricket.

Wow, T-Mobile marketing team is this desperate??

Guess they need to recover after the AT&T debacle.

Someone I know has T-Mobile and they said they don't even get good service in town.. You have to be out in the boonies to even get it. I never really liked T-Mobile though...
