    Iphone 5 / 5c / 5s compatability....which devices can I bring or flash to Cricket

I have been searching for some time now and can not seem to get anything but conflicting information, so I thought I would try to get some clarification. I hear the 4 can be brought in rather easily.

    1) If I have an unlocked Iphone 5/5c/5s from Apple store can I bring to Cricket if yes which models and how to do?

2)If I have a Iphone 5/5c/5s from another carrier would I be able to bring in as well, again which carriers, and best methods?

I have noticed this is a pretty hot topic and several people have tried to exploit others with misleading results and information... I am interested in bringing into Cricket account. So any and all help would be appreciated.

I also wanted to thank everyone for sharing, I have found this site very informative!

It would have to be a cricket iPhone in order to put on cricket. I work at a cricket store and as of now it isn't possible. Once at&t takes over and we switch over to there network then it will be possible to do that

I know this thread is a couple of weeks old. Let's talk about it from start to finish.

When Cricket was performing normally as a CDMA carrier which accepted flashed phones, you could put all sorts of CDMA iPhones on Cricket. Sprint and Verizon were the most popular.

Once Cricket got its very own iPhone, Apple said they they must stop allowing flashed iPhones on their network. I'm sure you could still get iPads on there by just using the data profile. Dealers were under pressure not to allow ESN changes of flashed iPhones.

Once Cricket moves to GSM, they should be able to accept any AT&T iPhone and other unlocked GSM devices in general.
Please check the forum and post there before PMing me. I have over 674 unread PMs due to the fact that they are issues which should have been addressed here.

People have had the Verizon iPhone 5 series working on ATT w/out LTE (LTE is another topic entirely) so it should work on the New Cricket.

I haven't looked around much but I suspect the Sprint version as well should be able to work on the New Cricket.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the 4S for Verizon and Sprints works as well.
